2010 Youth Essay Contest

Fundamental Presbyterian Publications is pleased to announce an essay contest for youth on the biblical meaning and usefulness of PRAYER.

•  Ages 10-12:
Develop the Westminster Shorter Catechism Question 98 onWhat Is Prayer?

800-1000 words
Prize: $50 for the winning essay

• Ages 13-17:
Develop the Westminster Larger Catechism Questions 180-181 on Prayer
800-1000 words
Prize: $100 for the winning essay

• Ages 18-21:
Develop the thesis in the question, Should we pray the Lord’s Prayer today?
1000-1500 words
Prize: $200 for the winning essay

All entries must be typed and submitted electronically to youthessay@fppublications.org by May 31, 2010. Please include your name, address, phone number, age, and a clear digital photograph of yourself.
Essays will become the property of FPP and winning essays will be published by FPP. Prizes, including Christian books, will be awarded by July 31, 2010.
